Obligations

Schedule 1 Facilities

Records required to be kept by permit holders which produced, acquired, retained or used at, or transferred from the facility Schedule 1 chemicals (pdf format) during the particular year include-

  1. for each Schedule 1 chemical produced, acquired, retained, used or transferred during the particular year -
    1. the identity of the Schedule 1 chemical, including its International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) chemical name, its structural formula, its Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) registry number (if assigned), its common or trade name (if any);

    2. the quantity produced as well as the name and quantity of precursors listed in Schedules 1, 2 and 3 of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) used for the production of the Schedule 1 chemical;

    3. the quantity consumed;

    4. The purpose(s) of the production, acquisition or consumption;

    5. the maximum quantity stored at any time during the particular year;

    6. the quantity stored at the end of the particular year;

    7. the quantity transferred to / from other local facilities.
       
  2. for each transfer -
    1. the quantity;

    2. supplying facility / recipient facility's name, address and permit number; and

    3. the purpose(s) to which the transferred chemical is put.
       
  3. for each import-
    1. the quantity imported;

    2. the relevant import licence number;

    3. the country of origin;

    4. the name and address of the supplier; and

    5. the purpose(s) of such import.
       
  4. for each export -
    1. the quantity exported;

    2. the relevant export licence number;

    3. the country of destination;

    4. the name and address of the recipient; and

    5. the purpose(s) of such export.
       
  5. For each Schedule 1 chemical anticipated to be produced at the facility in the year following the particular year -
    1. the identity of the Schedule 1 chemical, including its International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) chemical name, its structural formula, its Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) registry number, if assigned, and its common or trade name (if any);
    2. the anticipated production quantity;

    3. the anticipated time period for the production;

    4. the purpose(s) of the production; and

    5. information on any anticipated changes at the facility during the year compared to previously submitted detailed technical descriptions of the facility including inventories of equipment and detailed diagrams.
